CFC Message from the Big Apple
October 8, 2006Hello Campaigners,
I was standing in front of the affirmation in my hallway, repeating it, feeling connected to the children in Africa. Suddenly, I realized the words pertain to me as well. I deserve this too. This is for me too.
As I read, “There is more than enough passion, policy and prosperity,” I realized that I am free to ask for this for myself. If I am affirming this for one person, I am affirming it for everyone. In fact, I must affirm it for myself as well.
I haven’t felt the same since. I haven’t felt small. In short, it has changed how I think about myself. I realized that I am a mighty magnet attracting my good. I look for my good. I expect it.
I am wondering how many others have had this experience. What an amazing result of praying for others—we realize we are really praying for everyone including ourselves! It is the affirming of a principle…a reality. If it is true for one group of people, it is true for all people. I was zoomed into a new way of being, a new blessing I experienced for myself.
