Thank You, Campaigners!!
October 22, 2006Hello Campaigners!
Here we are after forty days of intention and meditation. As I held the affirmation on day forty, I looked intently at my photograph of the children. An overwhelming sense of love rushed through me as I thought, “You deserve to be seen and you have our attention.” Deepak Chopra says, “Attention energizes, intention transforms.” My friends, together we have done both.
A campaigner told me they have never been so aware of what is going on in Africa. He reported, “It seems that an awareness of Africa is constantly showing up everywhere.” It is as if the Universe has said, “Yes, it is time.”
Some may call it chance, but I have been deeply moved by the perceived coincidences constant conjunction of energy around uniting for Africa.; As the we shared our vision in Denver on September 10th at the CFC kickoff, the Denver AIDS walk was going on downtown. I was later humbled to have the opportunity to hold the CFC intention in my mind in the presence of the Dalai Lama’s during his visit to Denver. I was officiating a wedding in Chicago recently when Bono and Oprah united to promote Product Red in support of Africa and AIDS awareness. To me, these coincidences are too great to discount—they are a movement of consciousness!
My hope for each campaigner is that the past forty days have been significant in your spiritual journey as well—that you have been struck by Divine appointments that have spoken to you in a way that has been unique and personal. I consider it an honor that we are part of such a sacred and powerful community—the energy, the synchronicity, the consciousness.
Thank you so much for sharing your intention to make a difference!! Your spiritual activism is appreciated and valued. Please accept this as an invitation to suggest and to participate in, and suggest ideas for future Campaign for Consciousness efforts.

**Whether one is shopping for Africa, i.e. Bono and Oprah’s Product Red, circling Australia via motorcycle to raise funds, “biking in” medicine to rural communities, volunteering in an orphanage, covering progressive news stories, buying the artwork of African children, bringing African sending Teddy Bears to orphaned children, walking for AIDS, or holding the sacred space and visualizing the highest good; we are all walking this journey together and it makes a difference!!. Here’s to the tipping point!
